World Penguin Day has Prosper the Cat dressing up for the occasion.

Today I’m wearing black and white (because my human refused to rent me a tux).

It’s Penguin Awareness Day and World Penguin Day. I’m dressed up to honor my well-grounded Penguin friends.

Hey, yes I know that a cat thinking that Penguins are cool (pardon the Antarctica pun) might be strange for a cat, because a Penguin is a bird. Give me a break; have you seen the size of these wing flippin’ creatures? These are not at all like the birds in my back yard; Penguins are usually three and a half feet tall. Archaeologists have even dug up of webbed footed fossils that were over six feet tall! That’s taller than my human!

Anyway, I like Penguins because they are always very well dressed. Even though I’m a beautiful tortie and naturally colorful, wearing a little black and white adds a little class to the evening and might give my human the idea that a little special dining might be in order tonight. Maybe he’ll surprise me with dinner and a movie. I don’t mind a little attention for this lovely lady cat with a wonderful dinner of Orijen, EVO, Wellness CORE, Nature’s Variety Instinct, or my favorite: Blue Buffalo Wild Delights. My tastes are simple. I like the best!

After a delightful dinner, for the movie we’ll watch: Happy Feet!
