How my tortoiseshell cat, Prosper came to live with me.

My name is Prosper. I didn't really spend any time at a shelter, but I was an orphan. The quick version is that I and my brothers and sisters were all in a tree. A kind lady came by and loaded us all in her pickup truck. She then went to a lady friend of hers and told her she had us all. Her friend called Terry, my "master" and he said he would "take" me. (He really wasn't too keen on having a cat but he had a good experience with other Torties as they were playful and intelligent; and of course beautiful!)

The lady's friend took me and I stayed at her house until Terry came by to get me. (She also took in my sister and named her Shiras. She is entirely black and looks like my shadow. I visit her sometimes when Terry is away on business).

So that's how I moved in with Terry and have been the queen of the house since.
