I was concerned that would be the last episode of Prosper the Cat...

I had just published an entry saying that "I'm Baaaaaaaaack" for my cat Prosper (she tells me what to write and I type and publish it here). But then one day last week, she got startled and ran away! She was missing for about 3 days and I was concerned.

Fortunately a neighbor saw her and told me. I quickly went out searching. The story is in my letter to Greenies below, because they had a part in her rescue! (I'm not getting any money to tell you about Greenies but I really do think they are great).

Hello.

I would like to share a success story and thank you for your wonderful Greenies.

My cat Prosper has enjoyed them since she was young and when she hears the sound of me opening the bag or just shaking it, she comes running.

I love your product because of how it protects her teeth and overall health, but a recent occurrence causes me to appreciate you and your product even more.

Prosper is normally an indoor cat, although she loves being outside when the weather is nice. I tie her to a leash and I’m usually sitting near her. This past week when she was sunning herself I went in the house momentarily. I returned to see my neighbor walking his bike over the steps where she was under. He told me that he hadn’t seen my cat until he saw that he had scared her away!

She must have been real scared because she broke her leash and she was nowhere in sight.

Prosper was gone for 3 days and I was becoming very concerned. I told neighbors, and searched the neighborhood myself and things were looking dim. Being an indoor cat I knew she was no match for “outside” dangers.

Last night a neighbor knocked on my door saying he thought he had seen her, and heard a tinkling of a bell; asking if she wore one. That was the first good report I had up to this point. He told me where he had seen her.

It was now dark. I shined my flashlight in a small crevice under a neighbor’s house and called out for her. She meowed back! I could not see her and feared she may be stuck and that I would need to call the fire department. She seemed afraid to come out with my calling her.

I rushed back to my house and grabbed a bag of Greenies.  I called her again and this time told her that I had her Greenies while shaking the bag. She slowly crawled out enough where I could grab her and bring her home.

She’s now home and happily enjoying her Greenies every day in a much safer environment.

Thank you Greenies!

I’m baaaaaaaaaack!

It’s true; I am back.

I am a bit older now and wiser.

I am back to tell you more of my opinions and my adventures. And from time to time I will share a few things about the person who lives with me. His name is Ter Scott and he’s the Life & Legacy Coach. If you are a client, you may have heard me when you were having a phone session or seen me on Skype. I like to help by walking in front of the camera, standing on the keyboard or making my special brand of tortoise shell cat noises.

Not a lot of things have changed for me since my last entry. Maybe I’m a bit fatter than I was when I last wrote something here but I definitely know that I’m sassier; not sorry.

Right now Ter is into this fitness kick; well kind of. At least he does stretching exercises in the morning while the coffee is brewing. First we both have our vitamins (I don’t know what he takes but I like Greenies).

Then he does warm up stretches and I help. I run to lay on the throw rug because I know he is going to do “toe touches”. But for us, it’s “tortoiseshell touches”. He stands over me and counts to ten. On each number instead of touching his toes, he touches me; one, two, three and all the way to ten. On number ten he makes a funny blowing sound with his lips and ruffles up my fur. I’m trying to get him to count to 100 because it is great fun.

Until next time, be cool!
Prosper
